On January 13-16, the Multicultural Arts Center will present an original work by Najee Brown titled Hear Her Sing for Freedom, celebrating the life and legacy of Coretta Scott King. A one-woman show with live music and dance, visitors will have the chance to experience what it might have been like to witness Coretta Scott King perform a Freedom Concert, which she created to help fund the Civil Rights Movement, and which was responsible for the salaries of many of the men employed at the Southern Christian Leadership Conference (SCLC)!
