The FAS EDIB Council convenes FAS EDIB leaders in a roundtable/forum to promote collaboration and coordination across EDIB units within the FAS. The goals of the Council are to:
- Ensure that EDIB strategic planning, led by the FAS EDIB, promotes shared governance, collective responsibility and collaboration, and coordination of efforts across the FAS.
- Create a shared understanding of EDIB priorities across the FAS, to promote greater collaboration and coordination.
- Create a space for FAS leaders to share promising practices and issues that surface around EDIB in their respective communities.
- To provide the FAS EDIB with an advisory board to guide and provide feedback on FAS EDIB brainstorming, objectives, structure, initiatives, and planning, as relevant.
- Generate support for widespread implementation and attention when addressing issues and developing initiatives and efforts that serve to advance EDIB work across the FAS.
